You also explained that you ended up in your „current position“ after responding to a „job ad“ that spoke of a „slightly weird but very loving couple.“

Clearly, you had fallen victim to a scam. Instead, you felt, a more apt description for mum and me would have been „very weird, slightly loving.“

Mum and I had to laugh so hard that you too had to join in and your suffering instantly evaporated.
